Flying the Flag by Adrian Rigby
Print size: 11 x 23 ins (29 x 60cm)

British Airways Concorde salutes Manhattan, New York

In this clearly emotive 'companion' print to Adrian's SOLD OUT 'Concorde Comes Home' Limited Edition We see our very own 'Queen of the Skies' in what was once and sadly no more, a very familiar and friendly sight over New York!

Also shown in our painting are the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center It was generally agreed that any painting that would symbolise such an icon of our time as Concorde, should also include the Twin Towers! Personally, I feel this a fitting tribute not only to Concorde but also to the resolve of the people of New York! I also feel it is an excellent representation of the close bond between the United States and Great Britain
