MICHAEL
RONDOT - SWAN-SONG
The
Moffat Valley is one of the popular "mountain gate"
routes used by military aircraft entering the tactical low
flying areas of the Scottish Borders. The spectacular scenery
on the twisting, turning route from Selkirk along the A708
road makes this one of the favourite places for fast jet pilots
to hone their skills or bid farewell to a way of life!
Drawing
on his own experiences, Michael Rondot has created a stunning
painting of a pair of Jaguars ultra low down over Loch of
Lowes on a clear sunny day. This could be the final flight
for one of the Pilots in the formation, his swan-song, revisiting
favourite places from the sweet, halcyon days of youth in
the Jaguar Force.
This
beautiful new painting available from www.avcollect.com is
the 13th Jaguar print from Michael Rondot and a fitting tribute
to the aircraft now in the twilight of her service for the
RAF.
Published
in a very restricted limited edition, "Swan-Song"
is a fine tribute to the awesome Jaguar for collectors of
military aviation art!
